I have always loved baking/cooking, writing, photography and generally just creating/making things. Having worked as a university careers adviser for a number of years I decided to combine my hobbies into one job and, coinciding with family demands I started out as a part-time freelance writer and photographer in 2006. A year into this new venture I was pleased to have won a runner up award in the international Writers Bureau 'Writer of the Year' 2007. I love being creative in many ways:
I do all the food styling myself, take the photos and of course I cook the dishes, too (.... and eat them afterwards or serve them up for dinner...) Initially my photography equipment started out with a Canon Ixus 750, followed by a Canon G9 and finally a Canon 50D. All my features are accompanied by jpeg images unless otherwise requested. The children's magazines have detailed and easy to follow step by step instructions.
