Based in beautiful and historic Aberdeenshire, Scotland I create history-inspired designs that bring the elegance of the past into today’s world and into modern living. My passion for history, how people lived and artisanal craftsmanship drives me to design pieces that aren’t just beautiful but meaningful—each one tells a story, connects to a time of artistic excellence or inspiration from my visits to a period home, castle, museum, archaeological site or walk.
Through my work I aim to celebrate the artistry and richness of historical periods but with a contemporary perspective, offering designs that enhance modern living with a touch of the past. My values are influenced by styles and objects of bygone days when artisans took time and used their skills to lovingly create decorative art for the most simple objects. I love providing beautiful designs for customers to cherish in their everyday life in the same way that I myself treasure purchased decorative products.
