Welcome! I’m a wallpaper and home décor designer based in Scotland and at the heart of my work is a fascination with the home as a living and breathing space for people and how colour, pattern and texture can influence the atmosphere of a space and how it feels to live there.
My designs are created to be part of that experience rather than simply provide decoration. Some are gentle and understated; others are rich with colour, pattern and character. Some draw on the beauty of historic interiors and traditional designs, while others take inspiration from nature, the shapes and marks of hand-drawn art, or the world around me.
My fascination with designing for homes brings together the things I love: design, social history, traditional craft, nature, psychology and wellbeing. I’m continually curious about why certain spaces draw us in and make us want to stay, and I express those ideas through my designs.
I don’t believe there is one right way to create a beautiful or wellbeing-supporting space. Your home is personal to you. Perhaps you find calm in soft, quiet colours; perhaps you feel most at home surrounded by rich colour and layers of pattern. What matters is creating a space that supports the way you want to live and feels genuinely yours.
